Launched in 1992, the Barfleur has been a popular vessel with its passengers and towns its serves. The 20,133 gross tonnage ship has had a rich history within Brittany Ferries first launched under the Truckline branding (a no frills, freight service group of Brittany Ferries) the Barfleur has served for DFDS ferries while on a charter before returning to her flagged port of Cherbourg serving the 4 aprox. service between the Dorset Maritime town of Poole to Cherbourg in Normandy France.
