UCI World Road Championships in Montreal Canada Men's Race 2026

The 2026 UCI Road World Championships will be held in Montréal from 20 to 27 September 2026. This will be the second time the event is held in the Canadian city and the third time in Canada, following the UCI Worlds in Montreal in 1974 – the first time the UCI Road World Championships were held outside Europe – and in Hamilton in 2003. In addition, the event will be part of the celebrations for the 50th anniversary of the Montréal 1976 Olympic Games. Since 2010, Montréal has hosted the Grand Prix Cycliste de Montréal, part of the UCI WorldTour, which brings together the most prestigious men's road events in the world. The routes for the different races at the UCI World Championships will be based in part on that of this major event on the UCI International Calendar. Beyond competitive cycling, Montréal is also renowned for developing and promoting cycling for all, as evidenced by the UCI Bike City label awarded to it by the UCI.
