The Battle of Khambula - Napoleon Total War: Anglo-Zulu War Mod

The Battle of Kambula on 29th March 1879 avenged the British defeat at Isandlwana, established the superiority of the invading force and became the turning point of the war. Fighting from a secure defensive position on a hill 5 miles from the town of Vryheid in the colony of Natal, a British force of 2,000 men, commanded by Colonel Henry Evelyn Wood, VC, fought off 22,000 Zulu warriors. Zulu casualties were heavy at around 1,500. After the battle, mounted troops then ran down fleeing Zulu units. Recorded 01-05-2023 Made using the Khartoum Zulu Modification for Napoleon: Total War
