The Parable of the Talents | Faith Forward Living | Central Christian Baltimore

What does it mean to be faithful with what God has entrusted to us? In Matthew 25:14–30, Jesus tells the Parable of the Talents, a story about stewardship, responsibility, fear, and faithfulness. While two servants put what they received to work, another buried his share out of fear. This parable challenges us to examine how we view God, how we respond to what we've been given, and whether fear is keeping us from faithfully fulfilling our responsibilities. God calls us to more than playing it safe. He calls us to faithfulness—and invites us to share in the joy of our Master.
