Now she's teaching me to dance Jaipong | Tari Daun Pulus Keser Bojong

After wanting to learn Tari Daun Pulus Keser Bojong, a Jaipong dance from West Java, for almost ten years, I finally got the chance to learn it from the dancer who first inspired me... and the way I ended up meeting her is honestly the craziest turn of events. In this video, I take my first Jaipong dance lesson and begin learning Daun Pulus Keser Bojong, one of the dances that first drew me into the world of Jaipongan and Sundanese dance. This is part of my journey learning traditional Indonesian dance as an adult, exploring different dance traditions across Indonesia and documenting what I learn along the way. If you're interested in Indonesian traditional dance, Sundanese dance, West Javanese dance or learning Indonesian dance, follow along as I continue my journey.
