Building a stone hearth and mantel for our wood stove at the off grid cabin! We completed the hearth pad under the fireplace last year and now are building it up behind. This rock hearth was very cheap since we used natural stones found around the cabin and walnut wood found in the barn. I love how this DIY stone hearth and wood stove mantel turned out.
