Central to the Enneagram and self-development is understanding and managing one's instincts. But what are they? Often, we conflate subtypes and instincts in the Enneagram community. In this episode, Beatrice Chestnut and Uranio Paes teach us what the difference is between the two, how to identify one's dominant instinct, and how to use instinctual work to support your inner work. They also discuss how these instinctual drives operate in personality and what an instinctual sequence might look like, including the role of repressed instincts in our lives.
