Rexa Rey | I Like What I Hear (Official Lyric Video)

🎶 *Rexa Rey – I Like What I Hear* 🎶 *From my mind to my ear... that's why I make it.* "I Like What I Hear" is a little different from my other songs. This one is about the creative process itself — how the music comes together, why I make it, and why I don't believe creativity needs to follow somebody else's rulebook. Rexa Rey is a human-directed, AI-assisted virtual music project. Behind every song is a real person writing the lyrics, developing the ideas, experimenting with sounds, making creative decisions, and shaping the finished music. Sometimes it starts with a melody stuck in my head. Sometimes it's a few words, a guitar riff, or an idea that shows up at two in the morning and refuses to leave. From there, it's a process of experimenting, generating, listening, changing, rearranging, and occasionally turning that weird part up just because it sounds good! AI is part of that process, but it doesn't replace the imagination, choices, or creative direction behind the music. It's another instrument in an ever-growing collection of creative tools. And that's really what this song is about. Some people will love this approach. Others won't consider it music or art at all. And that's perfectly fine. Art has always evolved alongside the tools people use to create it. *A brush, a string, a beat, a screen...* It's never been the tools we hold. It's always been the hands. I don't make music to convince everyone that my way is the right way. I make it because I genuinely enjoy creating something that didn't exist before. And when it's finished? *I like what I hear.* ❤️ Whether you're playing an acoustic guitar, producing in a studio, experimenting with AI, or making music in ways nobody's thought of yet, keep creating. Different hands. Different sounds. Funny what we make when we pass it 'round. 🎧 Listen, enjoy, and turn it up! If you're enjoying Rexa Rey's music, subscribe and come along for the ride. *Rexa Rey — Human imagination. AI-assisted sound.
