Catching a Basket Full of Fresh Fish in the Stream | Rural Life in Vietnam

Welcome to Trieu Tam Tam! Experience authentic rural life in Vietnam as I return to a peaceful mountain stream to catch fresh fish. First, I use soil and rocks from the stream bank to block part of the flowing water and create a small enclosed area. This helps keep the fish together and prevents them from swimming away while I catch them by hand. After preparing the stream, I begin catching the fish and find several large, heavy carp. It takes some effort to catch them, but soon I have enough fresh fish to bring to the village market. I place the fish inside a plastic bag lined in my basket, carefully tie the bag, and carry my fresh catch to the market to sell. The next day, I head to the hillside where black sesame is growing. I check the plants carefully and harvest the black sesame that is mature and ready. After gathering enough, I bring the harvest to the village market to sell and earn some extra income from another day of countryside work. Back home, I make use of the rice bran collected during the rice milling process. Instead of wasting it, I grind the rice bran into a finer powder and use it to prepare animal feed for the livestock I raise. In village life, almost every part of the rice plant and the rice milling process can be put to good use, whether for food, animal feed, or other daily needs.
