Beach Denmark/ Top-5, Gjerrild Nordstrand/ Summer 2016/ Peninsula Djursland

Among the top-5 beaches on Djursland in Denmark. Safe and shallow close to shore for children, at the same time adults don’t have to wade to far out to swim. Hardly any tide or current. Suitably wide beach with a row of dunes behind, with sheltered spots. Also good for snorkeling for fish – lots of flounders, and interesting places under water for UW-photo.
