This September 27, 2020 mid-day flight reveals all the peak colors starting from the south west end of the Bigelow Range and flies up beyond the center of the range above and beyond Cranberry Pond toward The Horns peaks. It then drops down from the peaks to below the evergreen treeline and returns over the carpet of colorful deciduous trees for an overload of autumn color. This kind of color usually arrives in Eustis during the first 2 weeks of October, but cool dry weather and several nights at or below freezing made the colors change quickly over the past month.
