Hiroyuki Sawano writes the sickest jams.
So I still haven't seen Re:CREATORS (I will get to it I promise; there's so much anime!), but this song is too dang good to not cover! Such a hype opening song; and when I heard it again for the first time in a while last month, I was like "this needs to be metalized so badly." Decided to keep all the electronic influences from the original and expand upon them to create an EDM metal banger! I think it worked super well; it was a ton of fun making the distorted piano for the intro and working that wobble/stutter bass in with the guitars to make a wall of crushing distorted goodness. I came up with the reverse piano intro idea at the last minute and I'm so glad I did, it starts the song off really uniquely and I've been wanting to use reverse piano in a track for like 2 years so I'm happy I finally got to xD. Tried to keep the leads really tight for this track so they didn't get messy with all the synths; as well as making sure the drums were mega in your face punchy! Anyway, hope you enjoy this track, and make sure to like, comment, and subscribe for more metal/EDM covers of anime and video game music!
