Top of the Giant Trail (The Gorge Lookout) Top of the Giant.
После довольно серьёзного подъёма нас ждёт одна из самых впечатляющих смотровых площадок нашего путешествия — Top of the Giant (The Gorge Lookout) с невероятными видами на Lake Superior и окружающие острова и леса.
Sea Lion 🌊🦭.
Mackenzie Falls 💦.

🚙 800 km to Ontario! | Part II — our adventure continues!
In Part I, we hiked the famous Top of the Giant Trail in Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and ended the episode right at the bottom of the main climb to Top of the Giant.
In Part II, we finally make it to the top! 🏔️
After a challenging climb, we reach one of the most spectacular viewpoints of our entire trip — Top of the Giant, with incredible views over Lake Superior, the surrounding islands and the vast Northern Ontario landscape.
On the way back down, we stop at a beautiful rocky beach and visit the unusual Sea Lion rock formation. 🌊🦭
The next day, we spend some more time exploring Marie Louise Lake Campground before finally leaving Sleeping Giant Provincial Park and starting our long journey back home.
But the adventure isn't over yet! 😎
On the way back, we stop at Diamond Willow Amethyst Mine, where we get the chance to dig for real amethysts 💎 — one of the iconic treasures of the Thunder Bay area and Northern Ontario.
After that, we head out for a hike to Mackenzie Falls 💦.
And then comes the final challenge of the trip — driving all the way back to Winnipeg through heavy rain, fog and a stormy sky. 🌧️🌫️
800 km to Ontario, dozens of kilometres on foot, mountains, Lake Superior, waterfalls, amethysts and several days of adventure — this was our first major trip to another province.
And it was absolutely worth it! 🇨🇦❤️
