Today, I’m leaving the busy streets of Hanoi and taking a local bus back to my hometown to visit my parents. My journey begins at Giap Bat Bus Station, one of the busiest bus stations in Hanoi. Before catching the bus, I need to find a safe place to leave my motorbike. The parking area inside the station does not accept it, so I have to look for another place nearby. The station is crowded with passengers, luggage, buses and people travelling in different directions. My bus is designed for 29 passengers, but on busy days, around 35 to 40 people may travel inside. The journey is crowded and not very comfortable, but everyone is simply trying to get home safely. After leaving Hanoi, I finally return to my parents’ house in the Vietnamese countryside. Life here feels much quieter and more peaceful. The village is now entering the rice-planting season. Farmers are preparing the fields, working in the mud and getting ready for a new rice crop. This video is not about a tourist destination. It is a simple and honest look at real daily life in Vietnam—from a crowded bus station in Hanoi to a peaceful village and the familiar home where I grew up. Thank you for joining me on this journey.
