Prepare Now to Publish Later - SURE 2026

Start prepping your research for publication now; your future self will thank you! Your facilitator, Liv Marken, Writing Centre coordinator and staff advisor for the USask Undergrduate Research Journal (USURJ), will explain how to streamline your writing process, choose a reputable and suitable journal, and develop your research into an article, abstract, or research snapshot. Learn how to read publication agreements, plan AI use with journal policies in mind, and navigate copyright and ethics approval. Leave with a "prepare to publish" toolkit. Be sure to register July's followup "Make Your Manuscript Publication-Ready: A Hands-on Workshop."
