#42 Mechanical Failure, TWICE - Over Width to UT, Over Length to OR - Rusty Gold and Priceless Junk!

Episode 42 Aug 22, 2025 I'm an independent owner/operator, hauling flatbed freight in and around the Western United States. A load of 12' wide truck scales to Genola, UT, and the trailer brakes fail en route. We follow that with an over length load to Klamath Falls, OR and instead of a paid load home, I stop and buy some priceless junk to add to my growing collection. Hanging on to old school traditions and methods in a 21st century trucking world that's tracked and monitored. I own a truck, and I make a living with it. This is how I make a buck with a truck. On this channel, I'll share stories of loads hauled, places delivered to and some of the people I meet, while doing what needs to be done to earn a living as an independent owner/operator.
