Night Lords: The Most Merciful Space Marines? (Human Made) - Warhammer 40k Lore

Yes, they’re stealthy. Yes, their methods are horrific…and yes, they really were inherently merciful by design. But ideas are fragile things, and one way or another, Conrad Curze’s nightmarish Astartes were perhaps doomed to fall from the very start. Today, in Bolter & Blade’s first case study of a traitor legion, let’s unpack the bitter tragedy of the 8th Legion. In this video we will examine how they came to be, the upbringing of their Primarch, Curze’s reunion with his gene-sons, the world of Nostramo, the 8th Legion's role in the Horus Heresy and Great Crusade, as well as their culture, grizzly yet iconic appearance, and unspeakable methods of warfare.
