One day you or a group of friends end up feeling like playing Minecraft again, you decide to create a new world. At first everything is going well, but as the world goes on, you or your friends begin to feel less enjoyment. A few more days pass, with less and less logins, until eventually there is nobody left in what was once a world with so much excitement and joy. This world might have ended, but eventually after some time, you find yourself wanting to play Minecraft once again, repeating the same cycle which you might find yourself repeating till the very end. It’s a tale as old as Minecraft itself, and in recent years the topic has exploded into popularity. You can find countless videos and articles on the 2 Week Minecraft Phase, but I've noticed that there’s a general sentiment shared among many of them. The idea that the 2 Week Minecraft Phase is something to be avoided, with there being many guides on how to “stop” or “break” the phase, even giving rise to the idea of a forever world. And I do understand why this sentiment is so common, like I myself do enjoy long lasting worlds, but at the same time I ask, is it not possible for the 2 Week Minecraft Phase to not just be good, but something you can fully embrace.
