However, Scripture never explicitly states that Samson, the conquest of Laish, Dan’s military strategy, or any other single historical event directly “fulfilled” Jacob’s serpent prophecy. Connections between those events and the serpent image are literary and historical interpretations. The serpent image should also not automatically be interpreted as meaning that Dan was satanic or directly connected to the serpent of Eden. Likewise, Revelation 7 does omit Dan from its tribal list, but Revelation does not explain why.
