The Beasties / October 14 , 2024 / THE BEATLES STREET in Osaka ATC Vol.20 ‼︎

The Beasties' fourth time performing at Nanko Kai! This time, it's a special A Hard Day's Night! Everyone transformed into Pattie Boyd, and I'm sure George and John in heaven were thrilled! Of course, I was also moved by the 17 minutes and it went by in a flash! The show started with the first track on side B, Any Time at All, and my favorite second track, I'll Cry Instead, and then, in an unexpected turn of events, Yoko, who plays Ringo, sulked, and Saki, who plays John, comforted her. Then, Saki and Mariko sang a mother-daughter duet on the third track on side A, If I Fell, which is my favorite track on this album, and Mariko appeared on the sixth track on side A, Tell Me Why, and the seventh track, Can't Buy Me Love! The show ended with the title track, the first track on side A, and it was a wonderful selection and order of songs that paid homage to this album! All songs except for the title track were released for the first time. Also, this album only has one song by George, which was already performed last fall, so Shiho, who plays George, took a break from singing. Also, there are no songs by Ringo on this album, so Yoko's singing was also off. There are also few songs by Paul, so Saki, who plays John, did a great job! Mariko, Shiho, and Yoko also gave solid performances that left me speechless! It's a bit early to say, but I'm really looking forward to the next Beasties release next year.
