Part 3 of our Egypt backpacking adventure! Today, after finishing our tour of The Valley Of The Kings, we explore Karnak Temple — one of the largest and most impressive temple complexes in the ancient world. After a chaotic taxi ride, a Nile crossing, and a few unexpected characters (including Captain Magic), we finally reach the legendary hypostyle hall and obelisks. Karnak is absolutely enormous — a sprawling mix of temples, pylons, chapels and statues built over 2,000 years. The sheer scale is mind‑blowing, and the heat… well, you’ll see. After the cultural chaos, we head towards the hedonistic beach‑holiday part of the trip, complete with a bus crash, stiff necks, spa negotiations, and a slightly questionable massage experience. — Andy (The Brit NOT In Hungary) Locations in this episode • Valley of the Kings • Egyptian Tombs • Luxor • Nile River crossing • Karnak Temple Complex • Hypostyle Hall • Hatshepsut obelisks • Palm Beach Resort • Red Sea coastline 00:00 Valley of the Kings 01:39 Ramesses III Tomb 02:18 Luxor Taxi Ride & Nile Views 03:48 Dinner on the Nile & Local Surprises 08:48 Captain Magic & Nile Crossing to Karnak 12:05 Walking to Karnak Temple Complex 15:07 Hypostyle Hall, Obelisks & Karnak Highlights 16:31 Bus Crash Drama on the Road to the Red Sea 19:01 Red Sea Resort & Spa Experience 23:12 Final Thoughts & Next Trip: Aruba Backpacking Egypt Karnak Temple Luxor Luxor travel vlog Nile crossing Karnak Hypostyle Hall Hatshepsut obelisks Luxor to Red Sea Egypt vlog 2026 Brit NOT In Hungary #Egypt #Luxor #KarnakTemple #Nile #TravelVlog #BritNotInHungary
