2025 New Braunfels HS Band - A World Distorted

he 2025 New Braunfels High School Unicorn Marching Band. The show was titled "A World Distorted", which featured the following musical selections: “Mister Sandman” by SYML “As Midnight on a Moonless Night” by Michael Markowski “The Night Window” by Thomas Newman The band was under the direction of Felicia Garza, Angel Hernandez, and Kate Day. This performance was at the UIL Class 5A Area D Marching Band Contest held at The Pfield Stadium in Pflugerville, TX. The band placed 17th place in preliminaries out of 27 bands. The band started its competition season at the Vista Ridge Marching Festival in Cedar Park, TX at Gupton Stadium, earning an 11th place finish in preliminaries. The band also attended the US Bands Converse Regional on Oct 11th. The band earned 4th place in Group 5 in prelims, and also 6th place in finals. The band also received a unanimous Division 1 rating at the Class 5A Region 12 Marching Contest at Heroes Stadium in San Antonio, TX.
