This workflow demonstrates the creation of a numerical shadow. It shows the constitution of a structural model, resqml model using BSS data, model enrichement with a 2nd data sources, and finaly the numerical shadow with updated data. In the demonstration, some service tasks calls external workflow defined in an n8n instance and in another instance of Galaxy (https://galaxyproject.org/). The communication between the application and Galaxy is done with a BRGM tool called GHOST, that standardize the galaxy api by translating it with OGC protocol (plus some custom endpoints to upload input files). The backend of the application uses Spiffworkflow (https://spiffworkflow.readthedocs.io/...) to run the bpmn workflows. Why combining 2 workflow engines (Galaxy and Spiffworkflow) ? Galaxy is currently in use by the BRGM compagny. However, it is complex to define workflow with loop in galaxy, and it is also complexe to ask for user feedback during a workflow run.
