Your EDC Is Probably Smaller Than You Think

What actually counts as everyday carry? In this video I go through my real EDC — the gear that actually leaves the house with me — and why I think a lot of “EDC” content stretches the definition a little too far. My core everyday carry includes my iPhone 17 Pro, a wallet I made from Sidel oxblood leather, #opinel 6, a SIG P365 Macro Comp, a flashlight, and a mini Bic lighter. But the bigger question is where everyday carry actually ends. Is something still EDC if it lives in a sling bag? A backpack? A fanny pack? What about gear that stays in the truck? I think there’s a difference between core EDC, extended carry, and vehicle gear — and if everything counts as everyday carry, eventually half the garage makes the list. This isn’t about having the coolest gear. It’s about the stuff you actually use and actually carry.
