“Dolphin Hunter of Indian Navy”: Meet INS Anjadip, India’s Answer to Pakistan Submarine Fleets

The Indian Navy is set to commission INS Anjadip, a new anti-submarine warfare vessel designed specifically for shallow coastal waters.Detecting submarines near the coast is extremely difficult due to sonar interference and complex underwater conditions. That’s why India is building specialised shallow-water submarine hunters under the ASW-SWC programme. With indigenous sonar, torpedoes and anti-submarine rockets, INS Anjadip will strengthen India’s coastal defence and complete a critical layer of the Navy’s anti-submarine network. #indiannavy #insanjadip #asw #maritimesecurity #defencenews #indiamilitary #aatmanirbharbharat #navalpower #submarinewarfare —————————————————————————————————————————— TOI Bharat – Your Window to India And Its Neighbourhood TOI Bharat delivers the latest news, biggest voices, sharpest views and in-depth coverage of India’s political, social and economic landscape.
