Presenting to you a compilation of 3 phase 6000 + HP WAP7 locos , these locos are manufactured at IR's own manufacturing facility , Chittaranjan Locomotive Works ( CLW ) . It is a high speed passenger version of the WAG9 class freight train locomotive . These are used for various prestigious trains including the premier class trains like Rajdhani Express . It is known for its better acceleration with heavy long rakes , it can reach top speeds much faster than conventional locos like WAP4 .
