This video is part of my full A Farewell to Kings Tour drum cover project, originally performed and recorded as one continuous one-take concert video. The Playlist is here:    • Rush – A Farewell to Kings Tour | Full Dru...   Unfortunately, the complete concert upload was repeatedly blocked due to copyright restrictions, so I’ve decided to release the performance as individual song videos instead. While this wasn’t the original plan, it at least allows the project to be shared and enjoyed piece by piece. All songs were still performed as part of the full uninterrupted concert take, using drumless backing tracks to recreate the feel, flow, and endurance of a real Rush live performance from this era. This time I’m tackling the A Farewell to Kings Tour, one of Rush’s most iconic and progressive live eras. This period pushed the band’s musical boundaries even further, featuring longer compositions, complex arrangements, and some of Neil Peart’s most creative and demanding drumming. This is also the first time that I tried to play with the butt end as Neil did. Which was a whole other challenge, but made the hits more powerful and pronounced As with my other full concert covers, this performance is played in one take with no edits, using drumless backing tracks to recreate the feel and endurance of performing a full Rush show. The goal isn’t just to play the parts, but to capture the energy, dynamics, and musicality that made Rush’s live performances so special. This is by no means perfect, this is a challenge. I hope this video brings enjoyment to fellow Rush fans and drummers alike.
