The toilet bowl on hole 9 also cost a second... but otherwise, the strong finish sealed the deal. You can get -36 with Miis without any extra holes in one, so this officially requires you to get an ace somewhere to beat it. Regular characters lose the albies on 12 and 18, as well as the eagle on 17 in a normal round without chip ins.
