#Pakistan #Travel #Travelling with Tanoli #Scene#Friends #Family #Tanoli_on_Tour Musa Ka Musalla is highest(some say second highest) peak of Siran Valley, KPK. The most amazing thing about this hiking adventure is the elevation gain. You start from around 1700 meters and end at staggering 4080 meters! It usually takes 2 nights and 3 days to complete but we did it in 1 night and 2 days. Musa ka Musalla is famous cuz there is shrine of a person named Musa at the peak and locals visit there routinely. We went there in June but its better to go in early may to avoid mist and rain. Musa Ka Musala is a mountain at the junction of Siran and Kagan Valleys in northern Pakistan. The summit stands at 4080 meters. The name translates to “Moses’ Mat” which has different stories associated with it. Some believe it to be named after a local shepherd with the name of Musa who used to pray at the peak. Local guide told me that the shepherd ultimately died while he was on the peak, and was ultimately buried there for good. At the top, there is a Shrine made up of different stones and marked with color full flags (supposedly the grave of the shepherd "Musa" ). The trek details: (The trekking time might vary. We take almost 7 hours to reach here in Khori base camp from Dhoor camp. Faster trekkers might takes less time and slower individuals might take longer.)
