I Went Looking for Krishna at 3,895m… 🦚🏔️ This wasn’t just another trek. From the dangerous Himalayan roads of Kinnaur to the remote village of Yulla… from beautiful apple orchards and stone trails to landslide zones, unpredictable Monsoon weather and a challenging DIY trek — every part of this journey had its own story. Our destination was Yulla Kanda, located at around 3,895m (12,778 ft) in Kinnaur, Himachal Pradesh — home to the sacred Krishna Temple, widely known as the World’s Highest Krishna Temple. But reaching here wasn’t easy. No guide. No fixed support. Just us, our basic trekking gear and the Himalayas. Along the way, we met locals, crossed streams and landslide sections, And a LOYAL DOG on trail walked through forests and eventually reached the high-altitude temple.
