BS 8214:2026 — What's Changed | 60-Minute CPD Briefing
The 2026 edition of BS 8214 came into force on 31 March 2026 and replaces the 2016 standard in full. This is not a tidy-up. The scope, the structure and the underlying philosophy have all moved.
In this 60-minute CPD Webinar, Jonny Millard (Founder & MD, UK Fire Door Training) walks through every significant change in the new standard and what it means for the people specifying, installing, inspecting and maintaining fire doors across the UK.
Who this is for:
Fire door installers, inspectors, manufacturers, specifiers, architects, principal contractors, facilities managers, fire risk assessors, responsible persons, and anyone carrying duty holder responsibilities under the Building Safety Act 2022, the Fire Safety Act 2021 or CDM 2015.
