fter exploring Jogja, we continue our road trip to Solo and this city completely surprised us! We start our journey from Jogja and drive to Solo with beautiful views of Mount Merapi along the way. Once in Solo, we explore a "kalcer" coffee shop and try their famous Dirty Latte before having a bowl of comforting Soto Triwindu. Then we headed to Pasar Triwindu, a legendary antique market filled with vintage furniture, collectibles, old decorations, batik, and beautiful traditional kebaya. We try Timlo Maestro, legendary Es Tentrem ice cream, local bakery desserts, and traditional snacks at Wedangan Pendhopo. We stayed at a beautiful Javanese-inspired hotel surrounded by greenery, Rumah Batu Boutique Hotel. The next morning, we explore Pasar Gede, try Es Dawet Bu Hj. Sipon, have coffee at Kedai Kopi Pak Agus, lunch at Warung Kopi TFP, and make one final coffee stop at Blue Doors. And also pick up unique Ayam Goreng Widuran for the road!
