Saddle fit is so important, if it doesn't fit, your horse may start to pace or trot or not stay in gait. When the saddle does not fit, it causes your horse pain like a bad pair of shoes. So it can not perform its best. So it may not gait, it may not go forward or it may go too forward to try and avoid the pain. It may also refuse to go down hills, trip, buck or rear. Check your saddle fit every 4-6 months.
