After welcoming three beautiful daughters into our family, we’re getting ready for baby number FOUR! ❤️ But this time, we’re doing things a little differently. Instead of choosing a traditional hospital birth, we’ve decided to welcome our fourth baby at a birthing center with the help of a midwife. Our first two daughters, Zoey and Evee, were born in hospitals. While we’re grateful for those experiences, they weren’t exactly what we had hoped for. Everything changed when we welcomed our third daughter, Ember, with the help of a midwife. Having someone guide and support us throughout the pregnancy and delivery made such a difference that we knew we wanted a similar experience again. In today’s vlog, we’re taking you along for a tour of the birthing center where Janny plans to deliver our fourth baby! Unlike a traditional hospital, this birthing center feels more like a cozy home, with comfortable bedrooms, a peaceful atmosphere, and even a birthing tub where we’re hoping to experience a water birth. We’re excited to share why we chose this option, what the birthing center looks like inside, and how we’re preparing to welcome our newest family member. And here’s the exciting part… We still don’t know if baby number four is a BOY or a GIRL! 💙🩷 We’re keeping it a surprise until the day our baby arrives! You’ll also get to see a little ultrasound footage in today’s vlog. If you happen to notice anything that might reveal the baby’s gender, please keep it a secret! 🤫 Later in the vlog, we spend some family time visiting a local library in Houston, Texas, where the kids get to enjoy reading, playing, and homeschooling in a different environment. We also tag along with Vu’s dad to visit a local chicken farm to pick up some fresh food for dinner. It’s another simple day in our family’s life as we prepare for one of the biggest moments of our journey. After spending the past several weeks working nonstop on our new 8.5-acre homestead in Arkansas, we’re now back in Houston, focusing on Janny’s pregnancy and preparing for our growing family. We can’t wait to meet baby number four!
