Soul Calibur 2 [PS2] - play as Sophitia

This is a play-through using Sophitia Alexandra in the PS2 version of Soul Calibur 2. Read on below for more information... Sophitia is one of the hidden characters in this game. She is an unlockable playable character. ===== About Sophitia ===== As one of the originals from Soul Edge/Blade, she is definitely one of the icons of the series. She was not in the Arcade version of SC2, so it makes this appearance (along with the other home ports) somewhat special. She's probably one of the best (if not, THE best) "Greek Goddess" type designs in a fighting game. Gameplay-wise she is similar to Cassandra. Her range is naturally short, but as always she makes up for it with good movement and speed. Personally speaking... her face looks weird in SC2 for some reason. I wonder what happened? It could easily have been so much better... ===== About Soul Calibur II ===== Soul Calibur 2 is one of the best weapon-based 3D fighters of all time. The graphics are of course nowhere near as good as SC4 or SC5, but what makes SC2 great is that it's probably got the most "balanced" and "simple-but-deep" gameplay out of the series. It also caters to single players as there are a healthy amount of unlockables to discover as well in the console ports.
