A bestselling journalist. A trail of victims across two continents. And a profiler who sees what others miss. When Austrian detectives hit a dead end in a string of prostitute murders, they turn to the FBI. What follows spans Vienna, Prague, and Los Angeles: a brown leather jacket fiber that won’t go away, identical knots made from bras and pantyhose, a ride-along with LAPD near the Cecil Hotel, and a chilling phone call to a victim’s family. Watch how Agent Greg McCreary’s signature analysis, ViCAP’s data, and tireless work by Ernst Geiger, Tom Mueller, and LAPD detectives Fred Miller and Jim Harper piece together movements that align with one name: Jack Unterweger. But how do you prove it when the suspect is a media darling who insists he’s being framed? Dive into the investigation that connected 11 murders through behavior, forensics, and meticulous timelines. See the moment the pattern clicks, the break in Miami, and the courtroom strategy that had to convince a nation. Watch to uncover how the FBI helped crack an international hunt without giving away the final turn. #TheFBIFiles #JackUnterweger #TrueCrime #FBI #Profiling #SerialKiller #LAPD #Austria
