Title: Lord, Lead My Every Step Today | Proverbs 3:5–6 | Morning Prayer Good morning, and welcome. Most of us know Proverbs 3:5–6 by heart: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding.” Because the words are so familiar, it’s easy to read past them. In this morning devotion, we slow down and listen to them as if for the first time. Together we’ll reflect on: What it really means to trust God, and why He asks for all of our heart, not just the parts we can’t control The thin line between God-given confidence and quiet self-reliance Why our own understanding, however wise, can’t see what lies ahead How God makes our paths straight, sometimes by opening doors, sometimes by closing them, and sometimes by asking us to wait We’ll close with a heartfelt morning prayer, placing the whole day into God’s hands and asking Him to guide our thoughts, words, and decisions.
