In this first-impressions playthrough of the free Steam demo, I heal and buff a sleeping tank, an inexperienced archer and a powerful but unfriendly mage while unlocking new spells, improving the party’s stats and working through an enormous interconnected skill tree. The full game features more than 200 upgrades, 18 active support spells, over 16 dungeons and bosses that require different healing and party builds.
