How to Launch and Dock Your Pontoon Boat Safely.

In this video, we will show you how to launch and dock your boat properly and safely. Launching the boat is the easier part of the process. All you do is back the trailer into the water until you see the boat floating just enough for it to slide down into the water. Here comes the hard part, the docking. The docking part requires reaction time and accuracy. You will have to realign the boat onto the trailer many times. This is because the boat doesn't stop moving in the water. This causes the pontoons on the boat to move and be unproportionate to the trailer slots. Slightly readjust the pontoons, and when the Pontoons are aligned, hit the accelerator, and the pontoons will slide right in. The boat ramp we used was a public boat ramp located at Clear Lake Park.
