All you need to know before buying #gta 6

GTA 6 on PC isn't happening on November 19, so if you play on PC you wait while console players get it at thirty frames. The twist: GTA 5 sold around 25.9 million copies on Steam alone, yet Take-Two's boss says PC has to wait because console players are "the core". I go through what GTA 6 on PS5 really looks like (Digital Foundry measured a stable 30 FPS at around 1440p in the Extended Look footage), what GTA 6 on Xbox Series S could look like (Digital Foundry predicts around 720p from trailer footage, not gameplay), why the date survived the surprise launch trailer, and when the PC version is rumoured to land. Note: "summer 2028" is my own maths (GTA 5's 19-month PC gap applied to November 19, 2026). The early 2027 PC date is a GamesBeat report from four anonymous sources; Rockstar has not confirmed it. ⏱ CHAPTERS 0:00 No PC, thirty frames: the cold open 0:25 The date that refused to move 0:54 Will it run? The 30 FPS truth 1:21 Xbox Series S and the storage squeeze 1:52 Why PC gamers got left on read 2:27 The rumoured PC date vs the 19-month wait 3:11 The verdict: buy now or wait? What to do: 1. Free up storage now. Rockstar has not published an install size, and GTA V Enhanced alone is about 86.8GB on PS5. A 512GB Xbox Series S gives you only 364GB of usable space. 2. Buy digital if you want to pre-load on November 12. The physical box holds only a download code, not a disc. 3. Don't buy a PS5 Pro expecting 60 FPS. Digital Foundry expects 30 FPS on consoles. 4. PC players: ignore "PC builds" and leaked torrents. No PC version is announced, and fakes have circulated. 5. Check your region's unlock time on the PlayStation Store. Unlocks roll out from 11:00 UTC on November 18. 📷 CREDITS Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2 · © Rockstar Games —    • Grand Theft Auto VI Trailer 2   Video by Felix-Mittermeier on Pixabay — https://pixabay.com/videos/id-8064/ Image: Osh33m (photo), Soberian (retouch) / Wikimedia Commons, CC BY-SA 4.0 — https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Fi...
