Spirit C78: Hull Roll Over

The roll over of a Spirit hull is a milestone moment in the build process. Once the hull has been built by our talented team, it is moved outside the yard to allow it to be rolled 180 degrees by two cranes. Suspended in mid-air in two slings, the wooden hull is slowly turned over, with careful supervision from the yacht's build team. Once 'the right way up' the hull is moved back into the yard to allow interior fit out to commence. Video: Corin Nelson-Smith
