Two things are true at once: having no income right now will kill you slowly, and it's the most peaceful I've ever been. Nobody's waiting for me anywhere. Nobody has expectations of me. It's an ocean of free time and there's nothing on the other side of it. This is about the calm before the storm, and how the storm doesn't kick the door in, it just sends an email.
