Duck shooting on a Scottish Island | Game Eater

This week on Game Eater I hop on the ferry to the Isle of Arran with Peggy, my shotgun, and an Ineos Grenadier. I stay on Dougarie Estate, a beautiful mixed sporting estate owned by the Gibbs family. Then I kickstart the day with some ‘Wim-Hofing’ in the sea before father-son gamekeeper duo David and Davie show me some of the estate ponds, where we chase a few wild mallard and teal for the pot. We set up on the beach for the cook, whipping up grilled duck breasts and prime winter veg with a game sauce: simple, fresh and delicious.
