Ship of Fools - 1494 Wood Carving Ink Block

This is another skill from Priory Tiles! This carving has taken countless hours to produce, it is another Medieval art form that I have reproduced. This particular example was done by a master craftsman called Albrecht Durer for a book called 'Ship of Fools'. This book was from around 1494 and is still very comical! Albrecht produced unbelievably delicate pieces of work and this one has almost hairline wooden pieces that have to be carved.
