“The Love of God” is an original country-bluegrass Christian song I wrote while sitting at my mama’s bedside after she suffered a heart attack and stroke. During those uncertain days, we prayed for the Lord to restore her and thanked Him for every moment we were still given together. Out of that time came this song—a reminder that the love and mercy of God are greater than we can comprehend. Though we have all sinned and gone astray, God made a way for us through Jesus Christ. His sacrifice offers forgiveness, washes away our shame, and gives eternal life to everyone who puts their trust in Him. No matter what tomorrow holds, we can face the future knowing that God is faithful, His mercies are new every day, and His love has made a way. My prayer is that The Love of God encourages you, strengthens your faith, and reminds you just how deeply you are loved by the Father. Put your trust in Jesus. He is the way, the truth, and the life.
