Autumn doesn't need to become another list of things to accomplish. What if, instead, we simply found a few ways to participate in the season? In today's The Gentle Art of Journaling: A Gentle Analog Life, I'm creating an Analog Autumn journal page—not a fall bucket list, but a collection of simple ways I'd like to experience the season through my hands, senses, creativity, and home. Reading by lamplight. Crocheting something useful. Painting leaves. Pressing one worth keeping. Returning to familiar recipes. Visiting the library. Sitting outside with tea. Noticing the trees as they begin to change. Nothing here needs to be completed. These are simply invitations to pay attention. Because perhaps slowing down isn't really about making time move more slowly. Perhaps it's about being there while it's passing. What is one ordinary way you'd like to participate in autumn this year? I'd love to hear about it in the comments.
