Basavana Betta Forest (70 Km from Bangalore)

Instagram :   / surdeep_zenegger   Hey Guys, As part of our unscheduled trips we Randomly went driving though a rough road not even knowing it was a Forest. It was Simply a wonderful Trip. 1] It began from our Hood. Bang Street 28, We’re members of Pullingo – 19’20, Poornachandra (PK), Randy, Henderson (Babu), Raju & Myself(‪@Fishguy‬ ). There are ton of others and they couldn’t make it! We started our Drive at 5 : 20 AM 2] Stopped at Shell for Fueling - https://goo.gl/maps/ZctmddrddrDXNYRm7 Then we Proceeded towards Kanakapura, we stopped for a while for obvious reasons(ok.. pissing!) at around 6:20 AM while it was still dark, Near Somanahali : https://goo.gl/maps/gbonVQrNNbfiYyxE7 3] Then we enjoyed the smooth Drive towards the same and stopped for Breakfast at a very Good Motel! Mahadeshwara Hotel (Next to Akshatha Medical Store) - https://goo.gl/maps/FzAs7GLFeHw1sRjM7 Food available : Idli, Puri, Rice Batha & Bonda. 4] We proceeded to move forward on the same road, and then the Adventure begins.. We entered Basavana Betta Forest - https://goo.gl/maps/uJ49NcQ8XWtMWeXL8 Fauna : It is home to mammals like Tiger, Elephant, Wild Boar, Leopard, Dhole, Spotted Deer, Barking deer, Sambar, Four-horned Antelope, Black-Naped Hare, Chevrotain, Common Langur, Bonnet Macaque, Honey Badger Malabar Giant Squirrel, Grizzled Giant Squirrel, smooth-coated Otter 5] We did a few stops here and there did take risk Leaving the Car except for one time due to Nature Call.. 6] We were Completely Astonished Looking at the sight of Deer, Monkeys & Peacock! – Will never forget cause I’ve never seen Wildlife on roads! We were then stopped by some Oxen and that was fun! 7] We then Left the Place as Muthathi was not really interesting, people all around the place littering & it was completely Untidy. Rivers are always a Refreshment! We had some fun here!
