By late 1986, Soda Stereo was under immense pressure to deliver their third album "Signos". Burdened by massive expectations and severe writer's block, Gustavo Cerati suffered an intense creative crisis. In a single, frantic night, fueled by raw desperation, Cerati broke through the wall and wrote the lyrics to almost the entire album. «Final Caja Negra» was the culmination of that night. Cerati later explained that the "black box" was a metaphor for the mind's darkest, most guarded corners: "It was my way of saying, 'OK, I am in a crisis, I feel like absolute shit, but this music is what saves me.'" ‪@SodaStereo‬
