Foundations and Logs – Building a Log Sauna on an Island | EP1

Welcome to watch me build a traditional Finnish log sauna on an island! I have always had an interest in building, decorating and creating. I also love going to the sauna whenever I can. I already have a sauna at my island cottage, but it is 50 meters from the shore. Who wants to walk that far over and over again when you want to go swimming? That’s why my dream has been to have a sauna right by the lake. That dream was never going to become reality with the costs of today's buildings. That was until I discovered ⁨‪@Off-Grid-Island‬. By watching Oliver’s and Helena’s videos, I got the courage to try my luck at building one myself. A huge shoutout also goes to ‪@wildhomestead‬. James is living my dream life, and I hope that one day I can do the same. He is a huge inspiration for me.
