We built SIXTYCM because we kept running into the same problem in sim racing: We often knew what we wanted to do with the pedals — but actually doing it precisely and consistently was a different story. SIXTYCM is a free browser-based motor control trainer for sim racing. The idea is simple: isolate specific pedal skills, measure them, practice them, and then take that improved control back into the simulator. In this video, we talk about why we built SIXTYCM, the idea behind isolated training, and how modes like Precision Tunnel, Trail Braking and Target Gates work. Precision Tunnel also adapts over time by looking at different parts of your pedal control — things like holding pressure, ramps, transitions, low-pressure control and consistency — and gradually shifts the training toward areas where you seem to struggle more. SIXTYCM is not meant to replace driving, and it is not trying to teach one perfect brake trace. The simulator gives you the driving situation. SIXTYCM lets you work on the movement itself. So if you give it a try, please tell us: What works? What doesn’t? What feels confusing? What would you like us to add next? Train the driver. Not the car.
